I purchased a running Mill a few months back which was set up with one of the original Kmotion boards that are no longer sold. The mill worked but has some gremlins that are unrelated to the Kmotion board that need to be addressed. Unfortunately the wiring is a mess and there is no documentation on how the system was set up. Looks like I am going to have to gut it and start froms scratch.
The Dynomotion web site says that the Kmotion boards are not recommended for new systems. Is that because they are no longer supported and the Kflop is faster and better? Even though I already have the Kmotion board would it be better to get a new Kflop/SnapAmp since I am essentially starting from scratch on the build? Hate to spend the $650 if all I get is additional speed but at the same time I don't want to wire this all up and later on have to redo it because the board goes bad and I have to go to Kflop anyways.
Thoughts & opinons?

Our KMotion Board was designed 8 years ago, the DSP Processor is no longer available, and is no longer supported. Please consider upgrading to our KFLOP Controller.
Are your existing Amplifiers Analog? If so you can get the same interface with our KFLOP+Kanalog with more features, higher performance, and lower cost.
